Art Mozaika, Politických vězňů 8, Prague 1, presents an interesting exhibition of paintings by Adéla Tománková aka Adelheid: Trees hidden in a bunker in an anti-nuclear shelter on the 2nd floor from 18 January to 4 March 2022.

Adéla's paintings are full of elemental (and animal) color expression, expressing stories and life experiences, both in portrait and figural painting and in abstract. Her paintings are full of energy and joy, sometimes even sadness.

In addition to painting, he also writes feuilletons, short stories and screenplays.

 

The author writes about her work:

 

"I have always tended to paint, I began to form more artistically at ArtIn-Atelier Prague. I later studied clothing design, but painting still clearly won in my life.

 

My paintings reflect life stories and experiences, especially in figural painting and imaginary landscape painting. My great inspiration is also nature, which teaches me light, perspective, shapes and variety of colors. The branches of the trees grow into the canvas and turn into miraculous paintings. I simply don't have to look for ideas for paintings, they are all around. All you have to do is perceive them and let your imagination work.

 

But sometimes it happens that my idea differs from reality, especially in the processing of the theme in the image. So sometimes I go back to the very beginning and try to improve. I took courses in figural drawing (AVU), painting courses (Scholastics), art therapy courses, etc.

 

I regularly take part in solo and group exhibitions and my paintings can be seen both in private collections, in the background of the Linhart Foundation based in the NOD Experimental Space, and in the music studio, for example, and they have also played in film.

 

I'm happy to enliven any space and please one eye. "
